Chapter 1 · General Provisions
Rule 30. Appeals and exceptions with respect to rulings and decisions after judgment
Amended 2025 (current)
Decisions and orders of a trial court subsequent to judgment may be appealed in the same manner, as near as may be, as judgments. An appeal from a judgment preserves for review any claim of error in an order upon a reserved motion for a directed verdict, a motion to amend findings, a motion to amend judgment, a motion for a new trial and a motion in arrest of judgment. An appeal from such an order shall be treated as an appeal from the judgment.
