Rule 1-205. Address of Participant in Address Confidentiality Program
(a) Generally If an individual who is a participant in the Address Confidentiality Program presents an address designated by the State Secretary of State as a substitute address, the court shall accept that address as the individual's address.
(b) Prohibition The court may not require a program participant to submit any address that could be used to physically locate the program participant either (1) as a substitute for or in addition to the designated address, or (2) as a condition of receiving a service or benefit unless the service or benefit would be impossible to provide without knowledge of the program participant's actual physical location.
