Rule 62-610.600. Description of System

This method of land application involves treatment of domestic wastewater to meet effluent limitations for discharge to surface waters. Wastewater is applied by sprinkling or flooding upper reaches of terraced, sloped, vegetated surfaces, such as sod farms, forests, fodder crops, pasture lands, and similar areas. A runoff conveyance system is provided at the ends of the sloped surfaces. Rulemaking Authority 403.051, 403.061, 403.087 FS.
