Rule 62-524.600. Water Quality Testing for New Potable Water Well Delineated Areas

(1) New potable water wells shall be tested using methods as specified in Rule 62-524.420, F.A.C., for the presence in the untreated water of the ground water contamination which resulted in the delineation.

(2) The Department shall accept only test results obtained from water samples collected and analyzed by the Department of Health. The well construction permit applicant shall be responsible for the cost of sample collection, shipping, and analysis. Rulemaking Authority 373.309, 403.061, 403.062 FS. Law Implemented 373.309 FS.
