Rule 43-42. Definition of Commencement of Trial
Amended January 1, 2026 (current)
For purposes of Sections 43-39 through 43-41, ''commencement of trial'' means the commencement of the voir dire examination in jury cases and the swearing-in of the first witness in nonjury cases.
