Rule 85. Title

Title. These rules may be known and cited as the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure.

(dc) District court rule. The modifications of the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure for applicability in the district courts shall continue to be known and cited as the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure.

Committee Comments on 1973 Adoption Act No. 1311, 1971, Regular Session, requires that these rules be called the “Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure.” District Court Committee Comments By way of example, the modification of Rule 82 of the Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure for applicability in the district courts should be cited as Rule 82(dc), Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure.
